These keyboards are manufactured from industrial quality silicone, they have 116 keys, a numeric keypad and an integral mouse that can be cleaned with detergents and chemicals without harm.Each keyboard offers protection to NEMA 4X or IP66 from fluid, these can even be submerged in water! We have supplied these keyboards to various manufacturers who have hostile environments, such as food process companies were they need to wash down with high pressure water jets at the end of every shift. Or were there is dirt and dust on the factory floor, a standard keyboard would certainly fail in a matter of days.
