Ultra-compact wireless portable PA system
Featuring a compact, yet rugged & lightweight design that facilitates a high degree of mobility, the MA-101a is ideal for use in guided tours, educational settings, worship places, presentations, seminars, trade shows, for sports and activity leaders, and countless additional applications – indoors/outdoors – wherever reinforced, highly intelligible speech or music is required. The MA-101a is a UHF diversity system with 16 automatically scanable frequencies, and industry's first ACT channel set-up technology. It is available in two versions: with a wireless handheld microphone or with a bodypack transmitter for use with MIPRO's headworn and lavalier microphones. It can be hand carried, shoulder strapped, on a flat surface or mounted on a microphone stand.
The MA-101a's scan function automatically searches the local RF environment, identifies and then locks the receiver onto an available, interference-free frequency. MIPRO's ACT function then provides rapid and precise setup of the transmitter/wireless microphone to the same channel, at which point the system is ready for use.
Compatible with any ACT Series wireless transmitters and MM Series wired dynamic microphones, the MA-101a is driven by a 30-watt internal amplifier. With its line in jack, the MA-101a accepts input from a external portable CD/MP3/DVD music player or other line-level sources. A line out jack facilitates hookup to an external recorder. The system can also provide up to eight hours of continuous operation per charge from its built-in rechargeable battery.
