Tri-channel RJ45 Cat 5 A/B network switch
The PathWay® Model 7348 Tri-Channel RJ45 Cat5 A/B Switch with Remote Control allows the user the capability of accessing two separate devices, ports A & B, via connection through a device connected to the Common port for each of the switch's three channels. The network switch can be controlled manually via front panel pushbuttons or remotely from an RS232 serial port located on the rear of the unit. Switch position states may be attained via the front panel LED displays or the remote RS232 serial port (DB9) located on the rear of the unit. Features:
* The switch ports are transparent to all data.
* Each channel is an individual switch that is independently controlled.
* Front panel pushbutton control or Remote ASCII Command access through the serial port for each individual channel of the switch.
* Front panel pushbutton controls can be locked out remotely.
* Each channel maintains last set position in the event of power loss and continues to pass data.
* Remote commands can switch each channel individually or all channels simultaneously.
* Remote commands allow monitoring of channel switch position and lockout status.
* Front panel LEDs display switch position and power status.
