QuickSwitch Model 6272 ST Duplex Fiber Optic Mirror A/B Switch with Remote Serial Control supports Fiber Optic wavelength of 1300nm and gigabyte date rate. The Model 6272 affords local and remote access functionality. Remote access can be accomplished by RS232 commands sent via the Remote Serial Port. The Model 6272 supports a Fiber Optic wavelength of 1300nm and gigabyte date rate. The Model 6272 uses MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) technology and is transparent to data and speed. A, B, and COM ports are ST Duplex Multimode 62.5/125 Micron. The switch is controlled via front panel pushbutton control or Remote ASCII Command access through the serial port. Front panel LEDs display the current switch position. DB9/Female RS232 Serial Port for Remote Control. The switching time is less than 1 msec. A rackmount configuration is standard.Specifications
