Home security system
Home security systems are becoming more and more common in the interest of heightened security and awareness. People feel comfort and security in knowing that their home is electronically armed and monitored by professional security services or agencies. Home security systems normally include a variety of sensors, including photo detectors, motion detectors, and sound detectors, along with a microprocessor and driving programs. A control panel allows the user to arm and disarm the system, such as by entering a password on a keypad. In addition to sounding a local alarm, the home security system may include a telephone dialer for informing the authorities of an alarm in the home. In most home security systems, sensing elements and alarm generation elements are arranged at suitable positions inside and/or outside the house which are connected to a client-side monitor server which is in turn in communication with a remote control center so that events occurring in the house may be transmitted to the remote center. Wireless security and control systems are included as features in many products. Homes often have security systems which allow an operator to control the security system with a wireless transmitter by inputting a control command from the vehicle to control the home security system. The operator employs a wireless transmitter to activate or to deactivate a security and control system in their home.
