Advances in information handling system processing and storage capabilities have resulted in frequent use of information handling systems for managing multimedia information. In particular, the increasing availability and decreasing cost of digital cameras has made the digital camera a common household item. Digital representation of an image presents a wide array of advantages over analog representation of images. Digital images may be electronically stored, transmitted, and copied without degradation of the image. A processed image in a digital camera can usually be stored in two ways; one is to store it into memory, the other is to print a photo picture with a photo printer. When a user wants a physical copy of a particular photograph, the user selects the photograph from the library and prints the photograph in the desired size. Photo prints comparable in quality to those taken with a conventional optical camera may be obtained with such a digital camera by giving a proper image processing to the images and printing the images with a high-performance printer. Photo printers represented by laser beam printers and ink jet printers, featuring low-noise, high-quality and high-speed, are now replacing conventional wire dot matrix printers and creating a new market known as desktop publishing. Ink-jet printers are popular and cost-effective devices for producing color images. Inkjet printers have evolved to have the ability to print high quality photographs from digitally-stored images. Ink jet printers spray ink in small pixels that present an overall image of the photograph. Color printing typically uses cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK) inks or toners to produce full-color printed images. A photo printer is controlled by a printer controller which converts coded print data of characters, figures and graphs sent from a host computer into print dot data which is stored in a bit map memory.
