N Connector
The development of the Type N connector by the United States Army/Navy ran directly parallel to the escalation of U.S. involvement in WWII. It was finally released in 1942, shortly after the U.S. officially entered the war, and since that time it has been a staple in RF and Microwave applications all over the world. Normally operating in frequency bandwidths from DC-11 GHz, there are also precision N connectors that can reach as high as 18 GHz. This rugged and dependable connector is suited to a vast range of applications from military and aerospace to wireless LAN.
