Membrane Switch

Our membrane switches are printed on heat stabilized Polyester, normally 5 mil. thick. We also print on Kapton and PEEK materials. We print with conductive silver inks, silver chloride, carbon blends and U.V. dielectric. The U.V. dielectric can be custom colored for your process. The membrane switch can be a tactile or non-tactile switch. Tactile switches use metal domes (many styles & sizes available) or polyester embossed domes. These are ideal when you want a physical response when pressed. Non-tactile switches are flat switches with an upper and lower switch separated by a spacer. The non-tactile switch features micro-travel with actuation forces in the 4-8 oz. range depending on the spacer used. We also have "through hole" printing for creating a 2 sided switch which acts similar to a circuit board "via hole" crossover. We can embed LED's, resistors, and capacitors onto your switch. Our membrane switches can be combined with backlighting, fiber optics, and electroluminescent. Tail terminations can vary from male or female pins, solder tabs, or ZIF connections, and can also have housings applied to them. Different options include "drop in" switch technology sealed for harsh environments such as chemical resistance, and high-moisture conditions. We can apply these switches to metal panels, PCB's, and rigid plastic backers
