1 GHz REED RELAYS RATED FOR ONE BILLION OPERATIONS
A full line of electrostatic- and coaxial shielded reed relays that come in several versions for use in OEM and aftermarket ATE test equipment is being introduced by MEDER electronic.
MEDER LP-Series Reed Relays are designed for 1 GHz applications and feature compact metal cases with hermetically sealed contacts. Rated for one billion operations, these magnetically-shielded devices provide 1012 ohm insulation resistance and are offered in 5-, 12-, and 24 VDC versions.
Ideally suited for OEMs and as replacement parts in ATE testers and other high frequency equipment, MEDER LP-Series Reed Relays offer 50 ohm impedance and are available in Form A and Form C configurations, with dry or mercury wetted contacts, and measure only 20.4 mm x 5.8 mm x 5.08 mm (.8"L x .2"W x .240"H. )

Miniature Reed Relays for High Frequency Switching
The LP-series of miniature Reed Relays offers the ideal solution for high density, high frequency switching. With a coaxial shield the LP series is capable of switching signals up to 1 GHz. Using only high reliability Reed Switches, one is insured of long life when switching low level signals. With a coaxial shield the LP-series is capable of switching signals up to UHF-range.

Quests for smaller and smaller designs in connection with fast microprocessors set continuing challenges to relay manufacturers. To fulfill these quests, MEDER has expanded the MS Series for applications with higher frequency. The new MSRF05-1A87-75L is a Reed Relay designed in a miniature single-in-line package measuring 15.2mm x 3.8mm x 6.8mm (L x W x H). The LS04 Liquid Level Sensors are a versatile multi-point level sensor made of plastic which can be customized to hold up to 6 magnetic floats and mount to either the top or bottom of a tank using various mounting options. MEDER electronic features a full line of reed relays offering high voltage and high power configurations for PCB mount or free-standing applications. MEDER High Voltage Reed Relays are designed to switch high voltages, stand off even higher voltages, and carry very high current levels.
Miniature SIL HV Series High Voltage/High Current Reed Relays in an epoxy sealed, single-in-line package measuring only 24mm x 6.4mm x 8.9mm. An optional offset pin-out measuring 29mm x 6.4mm x 8.9mm is also available. Standard coil selections include 5 or 12 volts with or without diode suppression. MEDER electronic's MK23 Series Reed Sensors have expanded with the addition of our new MK23-90 Reed Sensor. The MK23- 90-C-2 is a Single-Pole Double-Throw switch with a 14mm glass body. This SPDT (Form C) surface mount sensor comes in two lead designs, lead design 1 (straight cut axial lead) and lead design 2 ("Gull Wing" with coined bent leads). The MK23-90 sensor comes in 5 contact sensitivity ranges.

Magnetic Reed Switches can be customized for your design needs. Some customization includes sorting specific magnetic sensitivity pull-in ranges and cutting and/or bending the Reed contact leads for either horizontal or vertical surface mount applications or other special mounting requirements. The CR series is our smallest and most versatile instrument grade reed relay series. The CRF Series has a flat insertion loss curve from DC up to 7 GHz, attained by keeping the signal path as short as possible and using an internal coaxial shield with a consistent 50 Ohm impedance path. Not only is it excellent with RF signals, but is also great for digital signals where the skew rates or effects on the rise time of fast digital pulses is less than 40 picoseconds through the relay.

KSK-1A04 Series Reed Switches are magnetically actuated, ultraminiature, low power reed switches. Designed with flat lead terminals they provide consistent contact orientation and larger contact soldering surface in SMT applications. KSK-1A04 Series Reed Switches, at 4mm in glass size are currently the smallest reed switch offered by MEDER electronic and the world's smallest reed switch with flat contact terminals.
