Model 4215 Smart Load Cell Indicator is an intelligent microprocessor based instrument designed for the measurement and control of strain gage transducer based systems. It combines force channels, encoder position channels, print capabilities, and RS232/485 serial communications into a platform that delivers the most powerful instrumentation in its class. Model 4215 is compatible with tensile testers, load cells, extensometers, torque transducers, pressure sensors and position encoders.The Model 4215 Load Cell Indicator is an Intelligent Microprocessor-based instrument for measurement and control of strain gage transducer based systems. Model 4215 brings you the accuracy, reliability, and repeatability needed to meet the most demanding applications. Standard features include a fully bipolar range +/-999,999 display, 24-bit resolution. Nonlinearity is 0.005%. Model 4215 features a 2-line x 20-character vacuum fluorescent display. Model 4215 offers TEDS-Tag Auto Load Cell Identification. A user-input text label is on the second line of the display. Model 4215 has auto setup for 25 load cells. Model 4215 offers a front-panel shunt calibration with two selectable resistors. Functions include: peak, valley, hold, tracking, and peak reset. Quad linits output include: independent, isolated solid state relays, and controls AC or DC signals. Model 4215 has six user-selectable filters. The tri-state limit display indicates on, off, or disabled. Model 4215 features display unit conversion: Lb, Kg, N, Psi, Mps, Klb, Kn, and t. D/A output: +/-10V std, +/-5V, 0-5V, 0-10V are standard per request. Model 4215 features direct analog amplifier output. RS-232, RS422, RS485 communication is standard. Model 4215 offers full operation and calibration via RS232. Model 4215 features 5-point linearization.
