iLoad Pro USB load cell

Loadstar's iLoad Pro Digital USB Series of load cells provides unprecedented integration of sensing and measurement electronics to provide Plug and Sense simplicity with Digital Perfection for load and force measurements. The iLoad Pro Digital USB load cell offers direct measurement of loads via the USB port of a PC. No need for signal conditioners, data acquisition systems or special software. Just connect and start measuring! The iLoad Pro Series offers greater ruggedness and improved cable strain relief for more demanding applications.

Traditional load cells are typically made from strain gauges which output a 20 mV total change in signal in response to applied loads. A user would need a signal conditioner to condition this signal, a data acquisition system to digitize the signal and application software to view and process the signal! The iLoad Analog sensors convert a load into a signal in the 0-5 VDC range. These sensors are ideal for applications that need to input signal directly into an existing PLC/DAQ - there is no need for a signal conditioner or linearizer. Our sensors output a linear signal: 0.5 V at No Load and 4.5 V at Full Load, to make it easy to incorporate load sensing into your custom applications.

The iLoad PRO Digital USB load cells are designed to plug directly into the USB port of a PC and enable users to measure loads, forces or weights without need for any additional signal conditioning, data acquisition system or special software! The load cell appears as a virtual COM port on a PC enabling a user to directly read data using simple ASCII commands with any terminal emulator such as HyperTerminal. Users can also easily write their own Windows applications with the open command set that comes standard with all digital load cells.

The iLoad Digital USB sensors convert a load into a reading on a PC without need for any additional signal conditioners, data acquisition systems or special software. Connect a iLoad Digital USB sensor to your PC's USB port and start measuring. Using a standard terminal emulator send commands to the sensor to display loads on screen. They can either be one at a time or in continuous operation mode. Alternatively use an application to simplify load measurements on a PC. The optional LoadVUE or LoadVUE Lite software can provide an elegant interface to make it even more convenient to measure loads.
