Flyback transformer
A flyback transformer is generally implemented within the circuits of a display device for providing distinctive voltages required by the circuit operation of the display device. Flyback transformers are used with flyback power converters to provide electrical isolation between the power source and load. Flyback transformers are typically used in consumer electronics, radio transmission and automotive applications to develop increased voltages based on lower primary voltages fed to the primary coil. Generally, a flyback transformer (FBT ) includes a primary coil winding and a secondary coil winding, which are electromagnetically interconnected by a magnetizable core. The value of the generated voltage depends on the ratio of the number of turns of the secondary winding to that of the primary winding.
