High voltage resistor

High-voltage resistors integrated on a semiconductor material substrate are used extensively in the field of integrated monolithic power devices. A high-voltage variable resistor unit which is a typical example of a high-voltage resistor is generally put to use while being mounted on a transformer casing of a fly-back transformer and is constructed so as to output at least one of a screen voltage and a focusing pack. High-voltage variable resistors are generally used for adjusting focus voltages and screen voltages in television receivers. In a high-voltage variable resistor used to adjust the focus voltage, screen voltage, etc. of a television receiver, a capacitor called a dynamic focus capacitor for filtering or signal voltage coupling may be connected between a focus voltage output electrode and a grounding electrode or between the output electrode and a signal input terminal.
