DB-9 A/B/C/D switch with exclusive remote control
The PathWay Model 7207 DB9 Interface 4-Position Switch provides switching in a compact, desktop unit. This compact, desktop, network switch enables connection of a workstation or device between 4 other devices or networks. The switch ports are transparent to data format. Using a DB-9 Interface for remote control, accepting RS232 serial data ASCII commands, it is unique because there is no local or front panel switch control. It allows the user the capability of sharing a single DB9 interface device connected to the Common port among four other devices connected to the A, B, C, and D ports. There is no local or front panel switch control on the unit. The Model 7207 can ONLY be switched remotely from the DB9/female RS-232 serial interface remote port located on the rear of the unit. The front panel LED display indicates the position and unit power status.Product Features:
