Wireless mouse (Bluetooth mouse)

A computer mouse is a small device that a computer user pushes across a desk surface in order to point to a place on a display screen and to select one or more actions to take from that position. A mechanical mouse includes a captured ball at an underside which rolls along the planar surface as an operator moves the mouse. The movement of the ball generates inputs to respective x,y directional sensors housed adjacent to the ball within the mouse. The x,y directional signals are input to the computer to control the cursor movement. An optical mouse detects the image on the image detection surface by using an image detection unit and moves the cursor displayed on a display unit. The sensitivity of the movement of the cursor depends on whether the image detection unit detects clearly the image on the image detection surface or not. Wireless computer mice have been developed to eliminate the need for a cord, and to make it easier for a user to move the mouse around without having to drag a cord. A wireless mouse connects to the computing device by way of a wireless link. Such wireless links include those based upon the Bluetooth specification which is a computing and telecommunications industry specification that describes how mobile phones, computers, and personal digital assistants (PDAs) can interconnect with each other using a short-range wireless connection. Wireless mice have a number of advantages over the more common wire connected mouse controllers employed in computer systems. A wireless mouse controllers offer more flexibility to the user to position him or her self relative to the computer. This can reduce strain and tiredness associated with computer use. A wireless mouse reduce the amount of wires connected over or around a desktop and reduce clutter and complicated wiring tangles. In general, a wireless mouse has a power supply which has two kinds: one is a battery in the internal of the wireless mouse for supplying power in transmission, the other is a charging seat wherein the mouse is powered in advance, such as the power supply of a cell phone.
