CD & DVD duplicator
Optical data discs are an increasingly popular media choice for the distribution and accessing of large volumes of data. This includes audio and video program material, as well as computer programs and data. Optical data discs include audio compact discs (CDs), CD-ROMs, DVDs (digital video/versatile discs) videodiscs, and various types of magneto-optical discs. Digital information is often recorded on various machine-readable media such as optical discs for mass distribution. For example, computer software and audio files (such as music on CD), and video files (such as movies DVD) are commonly distributed on physical discs. CD duplication employs a master image of data stored on a CD-ROM master disc. The image is copied by recording the data of the image onto a CD-Recordable (CD-R) media. To record onto CD-R media, a laser is used to bum data into a polymer dye layer on the CD-R media. CD/DVD duplicators can typically duplicate a single master image onto several CD-R/DVD-R media simultaneously.
