Car equalizer
Car audio systems provide audio information through a speaker mounted on the automobile, based on sound information acquired through an AM/FM radio, a cassette tape deck or a CD player. The graphic equalizer divides the frequency band of the audio signals into a plurality of frequency bands or channels and changes characteristics in the respective channels, whereby a frequency characteristic over the whole band can be changed at will. In an audio amplifier, the quality of regenerated sound has been improved. The improvement of the sound quality is achieved by an equalizer amplifier or the like to attain a flat frequency characteristic in a sound field. Digital graphic equalizers are used for compensating for distortions of the frequency characteristics of sound by the listening environment.
