MIPRO Electronics has launched the revolutionary ACT- 81/82: encrypted digital wireless systems; overcoming the inevitable problems faced by today's conventional analog and hybrid wireless systems. MIPRO's revolutionary true digital wireless microphone system, ACT-82, provides crystal-clear, secure and interference-free audio transmission. The product features 128-bit encryption capability for maximum security against unauthorized listening, 24-bit audio quality, true digital RF transmission, SmartEQ™ microphone modeling, lithium-polymer battery for 8-hr. continuous operation, 20Hz~20kHz frequency response, PC-controllable. The digital wireless microphone system is ideal for military, courtrooms, corporate boardrooms, studio, and government facilities, anywhere security is a must. Digital audio is transmitted as "1s" and "0s" codes, thereby offering the benefits of better resistance to RF interference and its effects on FM performance. 24-bit audio quality yields a reproduction of original, natural sound, avoiding the inevitable distortion of low frequency sounds caused by analog systems, and compares favorably to wired microphone performance. Digital transmission quality is constant. S/N ratio will not deteriorate as received signal becomes weaker. Proprietary Audio A/D Converter provides a true dynamic range of 110dBA to eliminate saturation or distortion at higher frequencies under high SPL input conditions. ACT-82 true digital wireless system incorporates MIPRO's Autoscan and ACTTM functionality and the first use of a vivid full-color VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display). All controls are intuitive and easily accessible, enabling quick and easy system set-up via a single rotary switch. Both ACT-8H handheld transmitter & ACT-8T bodypack transmitter are built rugged and incorporate a multifunction LCD indicator for displaying working channel, transmitter battery, encryption status and input levels. High-energy Li-polymer rechargeable battery design allows unmatched 8-10 continuous hours of use per charge.
