5-Pole High Voltage Relays
Miniature High Voltage Reed RelaysIn the modern world, there is a constant drive to reduce size yet increase the performance of almost every type of electronic component. With that in mind, MEDER electronic has introduced two new high voltage Reed Relays for PCB mounting. These miniature high voltage relays take up only 40x15x13.5mm board area. These high voltage relays offer a switching voltage of 1 kVDC with a 4 kVDC or 6-kVDC option across the contacts.
The relay is constructed using high quality materials giving a high dielectric constant between coil and contact allowing MEDER to specify a minimum breakdown voltage of 15kVDC.
Despite the short length of just 40mm this relay has a distance between coil and contact pins of 35.56mm (1.4 inch) which in turn gives a minimum creepage / clearance distance of 32mm (1.26 in.) once soldered onto the PCB. This makes these special BE Series relays ideal for applications where safety is critical. By maintaining appropriate distances for leakage paths these new MEDER relays comply fully with VDE0884.
In order to achieve the high voltage characteristics demonstrated by these relays, MEDER has used special Reed Switches where the voltage stand off is enhanced by a vacuum within the switch. This technique also ensures that the BE relays are cost effective.

All-Purpose Reed Relays in various versions
With the extensive BE Series you have the choice between a metal and a plastic casing. The globally current pinnings assure the availability of widely pin-compatible Reed Relays. According to the different casings, either 1 to 5 form A switches, 1 to 2 form C switches, 2 Form A and 2 Form B switches or 1 to 2 bistable (E) Form A switches are offered. Special low thermal versions are also available. You can choose between dry and mercury wetted reed switches which allow to switch without bounce at a extremely high life expectancy. The BE series is completely potted with a durable flexibly Polyurethane resin. Versions with an extremely high insulation resistance of 1014 Ohm achieved through a special epoxy potting compound are also available for special requirements of test systems, medical equipment and precision measuring devices. MMS 2.8mm Implantable Magnetic Switch

Thus far, the LS03 Level Sensors were only capable of mounting to the inside of the liquid container or reservoir. These level sensors can be externally mounted to devices such as in modern air conditioners, cooling devices, high-pressure cleaners and many other technologically advanced household appliances.

Ultra Mini High Performace Proximity Sensors
MEDER electronic's MK24 series Reed Sensors achieve a minimum life expectancy of 50 million operations at 5V, 5mA, 100Hz while measuring only 5mm x 1.8mm x 2.2mm. At 50 millions operations, the MK24's base reed switch, a 4mm KSK-1A04 unequivocally surpassed all other reed switches in its size class. The MK24 reed sensor is a hermetically sealed switch in a robust thermoset molded package. This tiny energy saving device requires no external power to operate.
KSK-1A04 4mm Reed Switch Series
KSK-1A04 Series Reed Switches are magnetically actuated, ultraminiature, low power reed switches. Designed with flat lead terminals they provide consistent contact orientation and larger contact soldering surface in SMT applications. KSK-1A04 Series Reed Switches, at 4mm in glass size are currently the smallest reed switch offered by MEDER electronic and the world's smallest reed switch with flat contact terminals.
High Voltage Single In Line Relay
Miniature SIL HV Series High Voltage/High Current Reed Relays in an epoxy sealed, single-in-line package measuring only 24mm x 6.4mm x 8.9mm. An optional offset pin-out measuring 29mm x 6.4mm x 8.9mm is also available. Standard coil selections include 5 or 12 volts with or without diode suppression. This series can switch up to 1000 volts and carry up to 5 amps for up to 50 milli-seconds at a consistent repetition rate or 10A pulse
Miniature Liquid Level Sensors
A new line of compact liquid level sensors that are more reliable than mechanical switches and are an alternative to costly Hall effect sensors is being introduced by MEDER electronic. MEDER LS-Series Liquid Level Sensors are made from corrosion-resistant materials and feature magnetic floats which activate reed switches when the liquid level rises or falls, as desired, and then provides an output signal. Requires no external power to operate.
Surface Mount Reed Switches
MEDER electronic's MK23 Series Reed Sensors have expanded with the addition of our new MK23-90 Reed Sensor. The MK23- 90-C-2 is a Single-Pole Double-Throw switch with a 14mm glass body. This SPDT (Form C) surface mount sensor comes in two lead designs, lead design 1 (straight cut axial lead) and lead design 2 ("Gull Wing" with coined bent leads). The MK23-90 sensor comes in 5 contact sensitivity ranges.

Miniature 7 GHz RF Reed Relay CRF Series
The CR series is our smallest and most versatile instrument grade reed relay series. The CRF Series has a flat insertion loss curve from DC up to 7 GHz, attained by keeping the signal path as short as possible and using an internal coaxial shield with a consistent 50 Ohm impedance path. Not only is it excellent with RF signals, but is also great for digital signals where the skew rates or effects on the rise time of fast digital pulses is less than 40 picoseconds through the relay.
