Subwoofer speaker systems are designed to reproduce the lowest bass frequencies in music and sound. These low frequencies cannot be reproduced by conventional full range loudspeakers because the bass drivers for these speakers must handle a wider frequency range. Subwoofer boxes are desirable because of the richer and deeper sounds that they provide in comparison to conventional speakers. Sub-woofers are used with power amplifiers or home entertainment systems to give an enhanced, realistic listening experience. Subwoofer systems designed to produce frequencies in the lower bass frequency range typically employ a bass reflex enclosure system. A typical computer speaker system may include two speakers placed on either side of the computer and a subwoofer located nearby. |

Computer servers provide a multitude of functions and services to other servers and other computer clients. Computer servers are widely used in enterprises and organizations for the advantages of high data storage capacity and system stability. A blade server system is a mainstream computer server that combines the hardware of the computer server, such as a processor, a memory and a network connection, into one blade server. In a rack-mounted server blade environment, the ability to hot plug server blades is a standard feature. Rack mount servers provide a flexible and effective way of providing varying levels of computing power in a relatively small volume. Rack mounted servers are typically mounted in vertical racks that comply with Electronic Industry Association (EIA). |

The flat panel display devices include LCD devices, plasma display panel (PDP) devices, field emission display (FED) devices, and electroluminescent display (ELD) devices. LCD panels have developed as an alternative to cathode ray tubes (CRTs), offering the advantage of a thin profile and brilliant display. LCD panels have been used for a number of applications, including computer monitors and television displays. An LCD TV displays desired images by applying an electric field to a liquid crystal layer with dielectric anisotropy between two panels and adjusting the strength of the electric field to control the transmittance of incident light onto the panels. The active matrix TFT LCD displays a picture corresponding to television signals on a pixel matrix having liquid crystal cells. |

In mobile communication systems such as cellular and satellite phone communications systems, data is transmitted by means of a modulation method so that a desired communication quality can be obtained. The function of a radio frequency transmitter is to modulate, upconvert, and amplify signals for transmission into free space. An RF transmitter includes a modulator that modulates an input signal and a radio frequency power amplifier that is coupled to the modulator to amplify the modulated input signal. A transmitter for transmitting an analog signal or digital data is composed of active elements to increase power efficiency and spectrum efficiency. RF transmitters used in mobile phones typically include a power amplifier which amplifies the signals being transmitted from the phone's antenna. |

Integrated circuits are electrical circuits that arrange transistors, resistors, capacitors, and other components on a single semiconductor die or substrate. The electronic circuits may be arranged into blocks associated with a particular function. A typical integrated circuit design includes a design cycle that comprises various steps which can include physical design and simulation, layout generation, and layout verification. The process of converting specifications of an integrated circuit into a layout is called the physical design which may be performed with computer aided design (CAD) tools or electronic design automation (EDA) systems. Circuit verification may be achieved by simulation and analysis. Static signal integrity analysis is typically used during the design verification stages. |

Optical couplers, also known as optocouplers, are a widely used method for interconnecting different circuits. Optocouplers provide electrical isolation between high and low voltage portions of a circuit. An optocoupler comprises an optical signal transmitter, e.g. a light-emitting diode or laser diode, and an optical signal receiver, for example a photodiode or phototransistor. The optical couplers are popularly used in an optical transmission system. Optical fiber technology is used in a variety of applications such as telecommunication, computer, and medical applications. Optical couplers are typically utilized to separate or combine an optic signal, such as an optic signal in a fiber optic cable. Optical radiation is coupled into the end face of an optical fiber by focusing the light onto the core. |

The use of ultraviolet (UV) light or radiation for its purification, germicidal and bactericidal effect is well known. UV light is commonly used to control the growth of and kill impurities in septic, water and air systems. UV lamp systems may be either microwave power UV lamp systems or medium pressure mercury vapor arc lamp systems. A typical ultraviolet lamp system includes an irradiator to produce high intensity UV light, a power supply to provide electrical power to the irradiator, and an interconnecting high voltage cable. One type of common UV bulb includes a quartz or glass casing that holds a vaporizable material, such as mercury, and also holds a stabilizing gas such as argon, neon, or xenon. The microwave UV lamp system has an irradiator that is equipped with one or more magnetrons. |
