Computers typically include at least one non-volatile storage device such as hard disk drives (HDD) and CD ROMs. A hard disk drive is one of the auxiliary memory systems of a computer, and is used to read stored data from a stack of magnetic disks, or to write data to the magnetic disks with magnetic heads. A hard disk drive mainly comprises a magnetic disk serving as a storage medium, a magnetic head for read and write, and a rotating mechanism for the magnetic disk and a positioning mechanism for the magnetic head. The hard disk drive s the most important data storage device on the computer because of it large storage capacity and reliability. A hard disk drive is typically installed in a hard disk drive tray.
